Tempura Ayr — Restaurant in Scotland

Me and my partner came here last Thursday to try this place for the first time time, I had seen some of the specials on Facebook and thought they looked amazing so wanted to give it a try for my early birthday meal. From the moment we walked in the atmosphere was amazing and staff were super friendly, even letting us know that food would be with us shortly while waiting for our food which we’ve never experienced in a restaurant before. You can tell that the staff love working here. The girl who served us was super helpful! I ordered the Cajun chicken 4 cheese burger with Parmesan fries and my partner had Cajun chilli cheese chicken with fries. As I am on a gluten free diet it can be hard finding unique tasty places to eat but I loved it here! My food was amazing, the whole experience felt special and the service was perfect. I absolutely loved both of my visits here. My first visit was for my son's 19th birthday lunch and I brought my 8 year old daughter along. She has allergies and they were very helpful in making sure there was no milk egg or peanuts in her food. She's very fussy and usually doesn't finish her food when we're out but to my surprise she eats everything. I had the tempura prawns with a side of filthy fries and my son had tempura chicken and a side of mozzarella sticks. He had a large portion and I had a small portion. We both struggled to finish as the portion sizes are very large but so sooo good. My son also had a drumstick cocktail which I had a sip of and it was delicious. When I returned for my second visit a few weeks later I had the same food and my 15 year old that I took that time had tempura chicken and a side of Mac and cheese. Once again the food was amazing. We were a party of 3 and arrived about 11:30 for an early lunch. The environment of the restaurant was pleasing and the staff welcoming. We ordered and the staff member taking our order was very helpful and friendly. She advised us on the menu that helped us choose our respective dishes. We ordered drinks which came relatively promptly. The food arrived within 15mins well presented with a lovely aroma. We all tucked in & were extremely impressed with the food. After the main course I had a coffee the others a cheesecake and milk shake . All in all we were very impressed by the service and quality of the food and dessert.
