Hadn't been in this place since it was Langs almost 20 years ago, I was pleasantly surprised, popped in for a lunchtime pint, Barmaid was very friendly and polite, pint was reasonably priced but exceptional value as it was as good a Guinness as I've had in many a Dublin bar, place was quiet enough to relax and read paper, music channel on but low enough not to be a disturbance, much cleaner and brighter than Langs ever was. The Brewers Tap in Moss Street which has metamorphosed from a previous life as Langs Bar is a Traditional bar with a convivial, friendly atmosphere. It hasn't changed very much since the first time I've been here and why should it? It has an olde world feel with its snug and historic bar. Me and my wife moved to Renfrew from the States four years ago. Once a week we head to Paisley for some errands and stop into The Brewer's Tap before catching the bus home. The atmosphere is welcoming, the customers have been friendly, and Tracy, the bartender, has been wonderful. Would highly recommend stopping in for a shot and a beer....
