This place has tried to achieve a shabby chic look but in reality is more shabby than chic. There is a certain amount of character but overall the place seems tired and somewhat dirty. The toilets exemplifiy this, they are grubby and are clearly not cleaned frequently enough. Stains the the floor around the basin and a very dirty fan grill show the unfortunate neglect that so many venues like this have. As a plea to the owner, please improve your basic cleaning! Customers do notice! Food wise, it's fairly average. Everything looks bought in. The sandwiches are plastic wrapped affairs in a chiller which you take to the counter. My overall impression is that there is a lot of potential here that is just missed. It seems like the owner is not that engaged with improving things and has become complacent.

A cosy and friendly coffee place to have a drink, a chat, or read a book. I had a latte and it tasted rather mild. The bakery items are average compared to many other small cafes around the area - typical fares one find at Starbucks than in a local Scottish cafe, and my fruit slice is too sweet.

Sophie the barista really goes above and beyond in work, really made my day! Whenever she makes iced lattes they always turn out just right. Also, Laura is great company. Since I absolutely love the viennese biscuits and the staff, the Burgh will be seeing a lot of me until you guys quit.

I really like this place, it's a great environment to go to to have a chat or do some studying, reading, etc. The coffee is very good.

This would be 5 stars if they had more vegan options! I find it very surprising that there aren't any as veganism is such a big thing, particularly since there's a large vegan community at the local uni and a lot of students like to come here to study. I remember they used to have a vegan cinnamon roll but I haven't seen it in some time. I've decided to go to Ground House up the road several times instead, solely because of their range of vegan cakes and...

I work across from here and I'm trying out different cafes around Stirling on my lunch break. Very nice atmosphere, staff are friendly and to the point, very fast service. Amazing selection of sandwiches along with plenty of vegetarian options, and the taste absolutely blew me away, really tasty stuff and plenty filling. Got spoiled for choice with all the different cakes and the coffee was really lovely. I got a nice chunky sandwich, a nice cake AND a large coffee under a tenner which is an absolute bargain. Definitely coming...
