We ordered the raffaello cake exactly like the one we ordered the week prior as slices which was all white and white sponge cake, the cream was not excessively sweet and very light and airy as was the sponge cake - delicious! So we decided to buy a large cake of the same product what we got NOT the same at all !!! It was clearly not fresh as it appeared exact one in another reviewer photo 3 days prior and probs older due to taste and texture. Exact cake and exact place in display. chocolate sponge cake not white, very heavy, not baked properly as you see it in the layers and dense and not fresh tasting like the slices, the cream was soo thick, heavy (Not icing not cream consistency)and so excessively sweet no longer enjoyable and a kilo of grated coconut on top. Why dont you replicate the slices into your big cakes as we pay alot more for them why not give us fresh, light and airy cakes like your slices what a waste of money and wasted occassion as all pieces have been barely eaten by people and dumped. Will not be back again. Be an honest bakery please and give all fresh items and allah will give you baraka otherwise this money gained dishonestly wont help you....

Popped in here as I was waiting for my car being washed nearby. I asked the waitress what the cakes were in the display (while I almost fell through the loose floorboards in front of the cake fridge) but she didn't know, which is an answer I wasn't expecting. I settled for a moulded sponge dome thing in a plastic tray topped with what looked like synthetic cream and a piece of strawberry on top, I ordered a latte to go with it. My order came out, I used the spoon to break apart my "cake", it was very stiff and the cream on top was indeed synthetic as feared. The underside of sponge had a dark film on it, and some stuff (purple goo) which I had no idea what it was, so I left it. The coffee was absolutely horrific. It tasted like instant coffee that had been frothed to make it look like fresh made coffee. I have no idea what I was expecting going into a place on Victoria Road, but that'll teach me I guess. Avoid this place...

Just want to say how Amazing staff Ella is just poped in to shop they were closing already, just wanted to get a cake for my mum as was her birthday and i was working all day. She kindly invite me to choose cake for her despite of closing time and made my day. Just want to say shes a sweetheart and she deserves payrise at leats for such as customer service. :) Again thanks guys definitely recommend to everyone....
