First time at this wetherspoons and will be the last. Sat down at a booth table on the bottom level and was snowed on with dust coming from the air vents above. Had to dive and save my friends food from a huge piece of dust that fell. I ordered a portion of 4 onion bhajis and a different dish of 4 poppadoms that is supposed to come with Chutney and side salad. When they came the two dishes were in one bowl, there was only 2 poppadoms stacked on top of one bhaji and burnt crumbs… there was no salad and I was instructed to go and collect my own mango chutney, which is fair enough but the menu says it comes with. I sent it back as it was like a joke and when they brought it out again they gave me a normal 2 bhajis and 2 poppadom. Still not the full dishes. I was refunded by the manager for the food and received the extra 2 bhajis and a half hearted tomato and onion salad. In the end I could barley eat it as it felt as if the kitchen staff had no clue what they are doing and no care whatsoever. Also had toilet issues that night which I’m pretty sure is from there. Also I’m a regular at wetherspoons elsewhere and have had the same Tommy’s Margarita over and over. This is this first time however that it didn’t come with a Lime slice which was very disappointing. The only reason for my 1 star review is due to the fine toilets, which surprised me after everything I received prior. At least the cleaner knows what they’re doing. Also the atmosphere on the higher level seemed better. DEFINITELY avoid on curry club day (Thursdays) and try to avoid...

Appalled by my visit this afternoon. First of all, only one member of staff behind the bar doing the serving, waitressing and cleaning tables - looked ran off her feet not to mentioned she seemed unsure of what she was doing (interesting her lanyard said “team leader”) Couldn’t change the wine draft behind the bar and then witnessed her serve another customer the wrong beer and then put said wrong beer to the side and popped the bottle top back on (meaning some poor guy will get a flat bottle of beer later). Then when it was our turn to order had to repeat the order numerous times as the staff member kept getting it wrong. When the food arrived the same staff member basically threw our plates at us and just gestured to the sauces etc. All of our meals were stone cold, soup tasted sweet and inedible - should have been advertised as gazpacho. Fish was cold and mushy, halloumi was raw and found halves of tomatoes in my wrap? Garlic bread was served as a tasteless pizza base. Only thing that was mildly edible were the chips and onion rings. Safe to say,...

We came in the staff were polite and helpful everything was going great until the food came we ordered a mixed grill with pepper corn sauce , the pepper corn sauce came freezing so we ask the lady who again was polite and helpful if we could get another one and she was happy to go and got a new one to replace our for the old one , but as before it came back cold , I little warmer than the first one but still cold , we also ordered the empire state burger with chips and onion rings , onion rings were amazing and so we're the chips we ask for cheese on the chips , they were very stingy with the cheese but that didnt bother us to much , so once we eat the onion rings and chips we moved on to the burger it looked so good and juicy but looks can be deceiving, it was dry, the outside if the burger was burnt and the inside has all it's juices burnt out of it , its a shame because this place used to be good for there meals but sadly we will not...

I am an ardent fan of wetherspoons. But this one turned out to be a real disappointment. Even though all the staff were really friendly, our experience was horrible. It was really short-staffed. There were only 3 staff in total and it was a busy evening too. The internet connection was really poor inside the building which made online ordering a nightmare. Counter ordering was also taking a lot of time. But the food was good as usual. Management should really look into the situation and add more staff.

Very tasty, presented well and good vfm Unfortunately we either we got forgotten about or they could not cope with a very busy period.... waited 20 mins for starter then @ 50 mins for main. I had to chase up manager to check where our meals were... unfortunately no complimentary soft drinks as way of apology when i ordered another round; perhaps this should be a policy in future !!!! Friendly atmosphere

Had an evening meal here. Really enjoyed the food great quality quantity and the price was good. It even came with a drink included. Bar staff eager to please great views across the street. Toilets were clean. Very pleased with the pub. Great range of cider and friendly and welcoming. A queue at the bar which moved quickly. Great place to go if you are in Stirling and want food or drink .
