Booked here for my daughters party and really disappointed with the service. Shocked because booking and everything went well until we got there. Felt like an inconvenience most of the time. The lady from the cafe just put all the food out at once despite ordering starters and mains. For the mains she just dropped it on the table and said "their not even eating the food so I'll leave it here." I'd note that they were a group of young girls barely 7 and had nachos, garlic bread, crisps, sweets, chocolates and pizza on the table at the same time and were making their way through it. No cutlery provided and when we asked for cutlery for PASTA the same lady just said "are they even eating the food." So should they eat it with their fingers because 'they' havent met her standard of how food should be consumed? Heavy jugs of juice just put on the table no communication so i assume she assumed they would pour this themselves(a disaster waiting to happen.) I even had a parent of one of the kids say she was very aggressive which was embarrassing, even though I agreed. Aswell as the kids food we opened a tab so we spent a decent amount between coffees, food and cold drinks. The same lady had an issue placing food ordered by adilts on the table too and just handed it when she brought it over. Really deserved 1 star based on this one ladies attitude which actually spoiled the experience. I gave it 2 stars because the other staff were lovely and deserving of more. She whatever her name was appears to be a weak link. Overall just didn't get the feeling like we were welcome. So I'd book to climb here again for sure, but will likely eat...
Read moreAnytime I'm in Glasgow I try to make it to the Flavour Bomb Kitchen. We just left and I spent most of my meal (eating a Stornoway Guack Stack) saying "wow". The flavour bombs are real! This is a hidden gem that you should definitely try to visit. You don't have to climb to visit the cafe. Liam's food is incredible and his welcome is just as...
