Free Attraction which is well worth a visit. The kids loved having a walk through the ship and taking a look from the deck. A very nice and beautiful example of an old ship which is being restored and loads of things to look at and learn from.

The food in the cafe is freshly prepaired on site and the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Good high chairs are available for children and there is plenty to explore above and below decks with quizzes to guide your way. One thing to be aware of is that the seating area is quite small (downside of it being located on a refurbished ship) so it can sometimes be hard to find a seat and isn't really suitable for groups of more...

We were welcomed on board the maid of the Loch boat last Saturday to watch the swimming event on the Loch. It was free entry however a donation was requested in the form of a few coins when leaving.
