My husband and I visited this place on November 28, 2024. As we walked in, we were kindly greeted by a friendly woman. They took our coats and asked to follow her to a living room where we sat and were asked about what we wanted to drink. A few minutes later they took our order for drinks and they brought the drinks together with canapés. Our dinner order was taken at that moment and we were left to enjoy the fireplace that was a real log one! When our table was ready, we were moved to the dining room. It is a beautiful and well decorated room. There aren’t many tables so I would recommend making a reservation. The entire meal was delicious! First we had bread and flavored butter. The , I ordered the allium as a starter, the venison as a main, and the plum as a dessert. My husband ordered the red pepper starter, the pheasant as the main, and the pear as dessert. You can look at the menu picture for more details about each dish. I can’t emphasize enough how delicious everything was and how much attention to detail is put into every single thing in our plates. I would absolutely go back! The prices are more on the pricey side, but we’ve paid almost as much as we paid here for meals that weren’t not even half good as this one, not even mentioning the great experience it all was! Since arrival till we left, the kindness and hospitality of the people who work here is amazing! 100 %...

From the moment we arrived at The Orangery Restaurant within the Victoria Square Boutique Hotel, we were met with genuine warmth and hospitality. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and friendly, setting the tone for a truly memorable evening. Our dining experience began in the elegant and cozy living room areas of the hotel, where we were greeted with a warm welcome and a lovely ambiance. We enjoyed a delightful selection of cocktails accompanied by a beautifully presented array of hors d’oeuvres—an inviting start to the evening. During this relaxed setting, our dinner orders were taken, allowing us to fully enjoy the atmosphere without any rush. Once our meals were ready, we were graciously guided to the dining room. The food was absolutely delicious, thoughtfully prepared, and artfully presented. The service throughout was outstanding—attentive without being intrusive—and the atmosphere felt more like dining in an elegant private home than in a traditional restaurant. Overall, it was an exceptional evening that perfectly complemented our stay at the boutique hotel. I would highly recommend The Orangery to anyone visiting Stirling—whether you're staying at the hotel or simply seeking a unique and intimate...

We had a wonderful meal here for my birthday in January, and I'm just getting around to leaving a review but I have not had a dining experience to match it since! The food was exquisite, each dish was exceptionally delicious and crafted with care and love, but an even bigger standout was the service. From our arrival at the door we were greeted with warmth and professionalism, beautiful surroundings and atmosphere, and it was clear that everything that could be done would be done to accommodate a fantastic night. Margo and the sommelier were so friendly and knowledgeable, even offering suggestions for local bars and places to visit, and we appreciated the chef also coming out to chat to us about the menu and experience. We really appreciated the little touches, them noticing that it was my birthday and bringing out complementary treats and allowing us to linger over a bottle of wine in the comfy armchairs in the next room. Couldn't fault the experience at all and can't wait...

What a hidden gem Victoria Square turned out to be! Our first stay in Stirling and in Scotland, and we could not have been more delighted. A beautiful Victorian building with stunning (and exceptionally comfortable) rooms, a friendly and helpful welcome and staff who really could not do enough for you. And then there was The Orangery. Whilst sat for dinner, we overheard someone say 'why would anyone stay here and eat anywhere else? This is the best place in Stirling.' I couldn't agree more. The menu was inventive, exciting and inspiring. The food was simply sublime. Breakfast the next morning was equally fantastic. Whilst we dined at The Orangery, the chef recieved special thanks from every customer, and several requests to come and be a live-in chef. Every accolade was deserved, and more. I honestly cannot say how highly we recommend Victoria Square and The Orangery. If you're in Stirling and you're looking for somewhere to eat or stay, look no further!!!

We arrived, without a reservation, just as they were closing their lunch menu. Our kind server conferred with the chef and offered us afternoon tea as another party had not shown up for their reservation. I can't say enough about what a lovely experience we had there. Great food, a beautiful, peaceful, retreat and service that was genuinely warm and attentive. It was just what we needed to refuel our stomachs and hearts before getting back to a long drive to Ullapool.
