Wheatsheaf Inn — Restaurant in Scotland

This is a pub with no pretentious attitude and a good atmosphere. It's a good size and caters for all but won't suffer fools gladly as it has its own regulars that are there week in and out, keeping the place open so doesn't need jerks demanding special attention just because they're going to be in once a year thinking they're being edgy. A good selection of drinks and good service, comfy surroundings and staff happy to help. Prices are fair and there's a fair bit of history to the place...it's survived where...

Obviously don't give a flying ** about the community around them I.e. the people who live here. Hellish loud music all night - doors clearly wide open. Oiks in smokers corner even louder than the music and foul mouthed with it. How about a walk up to Kitty's. Check out the signs on their walls urging their clientele to keep the noise down when outside out of consideration for the neighbours. AND they have bouncers to enforce it. At least...

We go here quite regularly on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. The always quick service, and the staff are lovely. Food is good and the prices are great. You can get a two course meal for about £7 and three courses for an extra couple pounds.
