The Willow — Restaurant in Scotland

I recently dined at The Willow in Musselbourgh and had an incredibly satisfying meal that I can't wait to share. This charming eatery specialises in all things and it certainly did not disappoint.

Upon entering, I was immediately struck by the cozy and inviting atmosphere. The rustic decor, combined with friendly and attentive staff, made me feel right at home.

I decided to try their signature chicken burger and chicken tacos, and both were exceptional. The chicken burger was juicy and flavorful, served on a perfectly toasted bun with fresh lettuce, tomato, and a delicious aioli sauce. Each bite was a delightful combination of textures and flavors, showcasing the high-quality ingredients and attention to detail.

The chicken tacos were equally impressive. The tender chicken was seasoned to perfection and paired with crisp cabbage, The soft corn tortillas were fresh and added a wonderful contrast to the savory filling. The balance of flavors was spot-on, making each bite a burst of deliciousness.

The service at The Willow in musselbourgh was top-notch. Our server Jola was knowledgeable and enthusiastic, making excellent recommendations and ensuring that we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The food was served promptly, and the overall dining experience was seamless and enjoyable.

In addition to the fantastic food and service, the prices were very reasonable, offering great value for the quality and portion sizes. The Willow in Musselbourgh has definitely earned a spot on my list of favorite restaurants, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious chicken-centric meal. Went in for a drink after a nice meal at Dal Patinos. Stood for about 10 to 15 minutes whilst the sole barmaid tried in vain and failed to make cocktails. After about 15 minutes we were told, along with another couple ' can you 4 sit down while I deal with this' It was another 20 odd minutes before we finally got served only to find that most of the draft lagers were unavailable. Another barmaid appeared after about 50 minutes whereby the first barmaid shouted 'thank ** you have arrived'. A guy appeared at the bar only to be told to sit down as 'I have 6 cocktails to make'. Not likely to go in again if this is the normal Saturday...

Well, I heard how good this was and was not disappointed. It is even better than I expected! It is THE BEST PLACE I'VE EVER EATEN OUT AT! YES, IT IS THE BEST PLACE IVE EVER EATEN OUT AT! We were seated in the garden part! I had the tatty scone nachos with vegan haggis plus a portion of chips! It was out of this world!!!! And I loved the caramel brand biscoffy cheese cake!!!!
