Sweet Haven Musselburgh — Restaurant in Scotland

Popped in today for the first time and we got some sweets around £7 while waiting then we were £12 for 2 crepes with ice cream, we were advised 5 minutes but then 10 minutes as the machine wasn’t on but took around 15 minutes. The first arrived hot and looked amazing but after 3 bites I had a dark hair visible on my fork wrapped in the Nutella chocolate and crepe! Friendly assistant but with long hair it should really be tied in a bun or have a hair net on and not in a loose ponytail when around food. Pointed it out and I got an apology and offered a fresh one but didn’t want one as that just put me off and my partner too who didn’t even eat 1/2 of his as he was as shocked and disappointed as I was. I asked for a refund on the one I sent back and really should have been refunded for them both. Pick and mix ok, some sweets that tasted horrid and not great quality for the price paid. Been going there with my wife almost every weekend before the lockdown and we loved the place. Last Sunday we went there for the first time since the pandemic and were very disappointed. Basically it was like too many cooks in the kitchen but the the most putting off situation was when a Manager refused accepting East Lothian Gift Card. He was unwilling to try it, then he typed in more then the amount on the card and was insisting they can't accept it beacuse it's declined! He phoned his boss and was told they don't accept these cards YET (valid since last December!). We paid then the whole amount by my bank card and later called ELGC info line and were told they are obliged to accept the card as Sweet Haven is a part of the scheme and if they refuse again, they'll be in trouble. I ordered a delivery from sweet haven when my delivery arrived at my address, it was three hours late half of my order was missing and the delivery driver went to the wrong house, when I phoned to ask for the rest of my order, would be the stuff from Sweet, Haven were extremely rude threatening me and my partner, telling myself and my partner that we were lying they kept putting the phone down on me halfway through me speaking, this was frustrating as I live just outside Musselburgh I arrived at Sweet Haven to ask for the items that were missing in my order, the manager got very aggressive in a threatening matter shouting and swearing in my face threatening to phone the police if I didn’t leave, this shop is Vile in every single way, Staff need to take English lessons, rudest customer service I have ever came across, the place...
