I popped in here on my lunch break after a client gave this place a glowing review, so I thought I would give it a try. It’s a small cafe that is easy to miss. Be mindful of your head and footing when entering. Once inside, you’ll likely be greeted by a friendly member of staff. There are a few tables, but not many, so I’d imagine it could be hard to get a seat on busy days. The cafe is clean, nicely decorated, and well-designed. The menu is thoughtfully curated, offering a selection of carefully chosen dishes. Since the owners are Polish, pierogi is, of course, on the menu. I opted for the cheese and ham sandwich on focaccia, which was nice. The bread was soft and moist, though I would have liked a little more garlic sauce. I also tried one of their special teas, which was pretty good, though I can’t remember exactly which one I had. It would’ve been rude not to sample one of their sweet treats, so I got a cupcake and a coconut and passion fruit (or maybe mango) slice. Both were lovely and hit the spot. The lady was welcoming and kind. I also bought a sourdough loaf, and she kindly sliced it for me at my request. I must come back here and try their pierogi to see how it compares to the ones we had in Poland.

This place is an absolute gem. Such a nice cosy place to have a coffee. The staff are super friendly and there’s a great selection of stuff on offer. Toilets were very clean and the place has been decorated really nicely inside Highly recommend the samosa and the spanakopita which are both made in-house and taste amazing. Will absolutely be back the next time I’m down the high street! Would recommend here over the local Costa any day of the week

Just popped in for a light lunch with my wife and 2 kids. Very friendly staff, food was great and I did enjoy one of the many teas on offer! It was delish! Butterscotch cake was also very good. Overall a nice experience. As we paid and left we got a lovely gift and hand written Xmas card which I thought was above really nice touch. Definitely be back again as soon as I can! Look forward to trying another tea and some more cake.

I'm not sure I want to do an honest review because then that means I have to share it! It deserves to be shared, rightly so, the passion for tea is absolutely second to none. I never knew tea was so much fun, I never knew someone could harness such a creative mind and put it with such incredible flavours. I love hot drinks. Best tea in Edinburgh and lothians I love everything she comes up with. I have my favourites and the fact I can take wee bags of them home to enjoy and get delivered to my house too is great. Then the food. I'm working my through things, first time I had the porridge and yes it is a simple thing to do but it did feel incredibly luxurious, but also I would of felt at home by a camp fire too. I've had cakes and bread, I've not had anything I didn't love yet. Husband and wife team, such lovely caring people and it shows. Hope they stick around because once word gets out it won't be long till they expand or move it's that good!! Don't believe me see for yourself. They also make a great coffee, but the tea is where the...

Here are my reasons why I have given this place 5 stars :

  1. The range of teas are excellent, a very wide variety. I recommend the Harmony tea ;-)
  2. I have personally tried their scones and cakes and they are always very fresh and they offer a variety you will not find very easily in Musselburgh or in Edinburgh for that matter. Don't believe me? Go have a look and see.
  3. Hygiene is on point, I have yet to see any negative points on hygiene.
  4. It's a family business :) I am all about supporting the local businesses and not the chains.
  5. Its a cosy spot so...
