Vanilla, Helensburgh — Restaurant in Scotland

💥DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT💥! ...... Would be -0 stars but won't allow

My Daughter in law placed an order worth £14.50 through just eats from here and it said on The app that it was on its way ....... then she got a phone call from the owner/mother who works in Vanilla ,saying they had no drivers and could she cancel the order on just eat and she would give her a refund....... wich she did !

The next day my Dil phoned the shop to say she hadn't received the refund to wich the womans Daughter (woman who answered the phone) said she would not be giving her a refund as it has nothing to do with them and it was up to just eat and to phone them , my Dil then phoned just eats explained what had happened and was told absolutely not , if the order was cancelled then its nothing to do with them its the actual restaraunt ....... we tried to call the woman from vanilla back on her mobile to let them know what just eats said and the number has been blocked 🚫 I then phoned both vanilla and just eats on her behalf and was told the same thing by both parties .

ABSOLUTLEY SHAMEFUL ! IF I WALKED IN AND ORDERD 15 QUIDS WORTH OF FOOD AND WALKED OUT WITHOUT PAYING IT WOULD BE CONSIDERD A CRIME , THIS IS NO DIFFERENT! THEY TOOK MY DAUGHTERS MONEY AND ARE REFUSING TO...

This place is the death of me I made an order and I got a phone call when the order was confirmed (saying it’s on its way)!!!!! For the mother to tell me she had no drivers now I was okay with this as she says I would get my full money back and she was being very nice to me on the phone… then I got messages from her saying I could pick my refund up from the shop or she can bring to my house(I says that’s perfect) then the next day I phoned to see if I could collect this refund and it was the daughter who answered she was very snappy and wide I did not like her response I was just wanting to know what to do with my money she then told me she can’t refund me this it’s up to just eat so I phoned just eat and they told me it was in the owners hands… I still haven’t got my refund and I have contacted citizens advice this is not good when your a first time customer and the attitude is horrible towards...

Serving old fashioned sweets & souvineer tins of goods this place is mainly known for its ice cream, milkshakes & filled crepes.

On a very sunny day the gent working in his own was handling the crowds well even having time to direct these visitors to public loo’s (right across the road which were very clean, disabled friendly)

£3.50 for a 1 scoop waffle cone. Around 12 flavours to choose from & scoops were generous. Toasted coconut & Kit Kat were the choices for us & both were delicious. Creamy and with a good fat content that meant they didn’t immediately melt even on this hot day.

Actual shredded coconut throughout & Kit Kat gave texture.

Few tables outside but plenty places to perch with a sea view right...
