Waite & Rose Café — Restaurant in Scotland

What a pitiful excuse for a cafe. The poor server was appeared to be in her own and when questioned there was another oerson in the kitchen. She ran out of ice and called for some. Supervisor appeared with some, dumped it and walked away. The tables were in need if clearing a cleaning and they had run out of cutlery. Know there was another member of staff in the kitchen, I shouted through for some. Out of the blue another supervisor arrived and as she walked past I informed her that the girl behind the counter required some assistance. The poor girl was however very pleasant and took some good banter from.the customers waiting for her to prepare our orders. Staff were kind when serving and atmosphere was fine. Issue was the pricing of the food and quality waitrose portrays did not meet the food received. I ordered avocado on toast with bacon. When the food arrived, it was presented as one slice of sourdough with mashed avocado and one slice of bacon. For the price of the brunch dish I thought it was absolutely shocking. I'm not a born Waitrose shopper but I have to admit that the place works well. Its range of goods is very wide and interesting, the staff are helpful and the prices are reasonable.
