Wintersweet Chinese & Thai Restaurant — Restaurant in Scotland

We had a horrible experience at this restaurant. Terrible service, the ' waiter' wearing a beanie hat and chinos, he really could not be bothered. Decor awful. Food took a long time to come ( we were the only customers at this point) there had been one other table. Food was cold, we said to waiter, he shrugged his shoulders and walked away. Terrible service, no atmosphere and food cold and gloopy sauce. Never again. The statement made by restaurant that the food wasn't cold is a nonsense. I'd never make a dishonest claim. I told the waiter at the time and as I stated he shrugged his shoulders and walked away. Unbelievable response!!! a complete nonsense!! I wrote the the manager but received a call from the guy who I ABSOLUTELY told the food was cold. He shrugged his shoulders and walked away. Taking the lemon chicken with him. BECAUSE there was NO response from the manager my husband spoke as he was paying the bill. The food took AGES to come. I walked out ahead of my husband as I was DISGUSTED. He was never prompted. I received a phone call yesterday from the author of the reply!! Rude nasty man who denied EVERYTHING. I hung up on him. I am certainly not being bullied for telling the absolute truth. What a farce. We are professional people with NO reason to lie. I notice your ORIGINAL reply which was " I accept your review...." Has been conveniently removed. Totally dishonest. Let’s start this by saying if I could put 0 stars I WOULD! First of all 2 of our juices were extremely flat as if the bottle had been open and left for weeks , when raising this problem to a member of staff we got told that it was not and handed back to us , we then complained again and eventually got juice that was slightly fizzy After receiving the bill we asked for tubs to take food away and got told the tubs were £1 each which we refused to pay as we just spent £147 on food and drinks we then asked other customers if they had to pay that price for a basic tinfoil tub and they said no clearly discriminating As we were leaving the member of staff who was extremely rude from start to finish put gloves on to clean the table as if we were diseased but was seen prior cleaning...

Walked in at 9:10pm on Saturday night, restaurant was empty, asked for a table to be told they were only doing takeaway at that time of night…..I pointed out that the sign on the door says 10pm and the reply I got was that they live in Glasgow and need to get home…..really!!!! Been going to this restaurant for 35 years, needless to say I will vote with my feet. Went round the corner to Bite East where we got a lovely welcome and outstanding food….shame on you...
