We came across this basic looking, bright wee cafe where the food was delicious and the atmosphere was friendly. The cafe had bright vintage tea cups, tea pots and coffee sets on display. ( I had my eye on a wee tea cup but, alas, it was not for sale.) We had delicious home made soup with tasty thick sandwiches and toasties, just what we needed to fill us up! The pièce de resistance aka the loo (I like a good toilet) had the same vintage era going on with an old wooden door, a big old bolt to lock it and a beautiful old stone floor all looked to be original fixtures with an old hot water geyser to top it all off.
