We stopped by Wimpy after seeing this local eatery near to where we were staying & decided to come and have a meal for the sake of nostalgia, as my last Wimpy trip was over 25 years ago. I ordered the shanty meal while my partner had the chicken stack. Service was fine, although the food was not exactly fresh. The fries were quite tough & warm as opposed to the fish which was quite hot, eith the accompanying hash brown also just warm. The price came to just under £30 with a cup of tea & a Pepsi which I thought was quite steep in comparison with the competition. No huge complaint but I probably wouldn't return.

My partner and I were spending the night nearby and thought we would take a trip down memory lane and have dinner here. The look of the restaurant from the outside and inside was still the same from parties in the 80s. The table service was great, and the staff were very pleasant. I ordered the Chicken Bacon Stack Burger and Fries, which were very nice and well presented, but I don't think it was worth over £12 though despite it tasting good. They have 2 for 1 on desserts, but I was too full to try one, and I had spent enough. This was a nice nostalgic trip but not worth nearly £30 for 2 people.

Absolutely Love Love Love Wimpy. In my opinion better than McDonalds, Burger King and KFC I had the Chicken Stack and it was incredible pure chicken when you bit into it. The roll was lovely. The chips were really nice. I had the Salted Caramel Milkshake which was Lush and I had the Eton mess dessert which was a amazing treat and so so nice Food is Excellent Quality and can tell it's Fresh and the staff are always lovely and helpful I always look forward to a wimpy if I'm ever in for a Ross County Game it's a highlight of Dingwall highly recommend and Give 5 out of 5 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Mothers day 2020 My husband ,Daughter and I decided after my husband informed me with a touch of nostalgia he had not had a Wimpy burger since the 70s As it was Mothers day and due to the shutdown of all restaurants we took a long drive to nearest Wimpy to skye which was Dingwall we phoned to make sure tbey were open for take away first which they were We were greeted by a very smiley and courteous lady ( the owner i believe) who took our order promptly and thanked us with a free milkshake saying that they are a small family business and welcomed the trade We are in the hospitality trade and were very impressed and pleased by the level of service we received given these difficult times So a big thank you for making what could of been a boring mothers day a memorable one Five stars for you (oh and the burgers...
