It was my turn to walk the dog. As I entered the cafe, the 1st impressions were dated but friendliness of the staff soon made up for it. As I tucked into my sandwich and a pint. My dog started hoovering for as long as her lead could reach. She was disappointed with the lack of crumbs. Very clean throughout. One of the young woman (with the nostril piercing) behind the bar pointed at a treat jar for well behaved dogs. Dog's happy & am happy. Prices are okay, helping the local economy. Would recommend.

A bit dated and basic £17 for a coffee, hot chocolate and two beef strew specials. The stew was nice but needed some more salt and seasoning. You have a opportunity here to have a lovey cafe and business with the location you just need a proper barista coffee machine rather than the basic machine you have and a good tidy up and new furniture and coat of paint. Sorry but felt like a tea rooms stuck in the early 1990s.

What an amazing cafe! I went with friends and was so good place to enjoy and spend lovely time away from daily life routines.

Love taking the kids and dogs here. I was played here as a child and like creating the same memories with my kids. The park has play areas for all ages and large open spaces. Ice cream and food in the cafe is good and staff are friendly. Its good too see a family business in Southport that has been around for years and still going now its been past to the next generation. Great for picking up cheap bits for the house and some toys for the kids for the day. The garden centre great the price of the plants is fantastic and the money goes into the park since the council stopped paying for the plants. Supported by the cafe owners and the garden centre they are doing...

I went in to get two 99s for my husband and myself and I asked for Kelly's ice cream the young lady walked over to the freezer looked in it and said there was no Kelly's only whippy which I purchased I had said I would have any flavour but there was none at all I was sat outside eating my whippy when a variety of customers came out eating Kelly's ice cream with a selection of flavours I just wondered if the young lady who served me couldn't be bothered as whippy is easier to serve just lazy I suspect not a problem when...
