Arthur’s Pub & Rooms Churchtown — Restaurant in Sefton

When it comes to arranging accommodation for a wedding, there's often the difficult balancing act of price, proximity, and comfort to contend with. On this occasion, Arthur's offered the best option, a short distance from the Meols Hall venue. Upon arrival, we received a warm greeting as payment was settled and room keys prepared. A short tour followed, showing us the way to our rooms, accessible via a separate door to the downstairs pub area. The accommodation area itself is modest, though well decorated and secure, with CCTV and key cards - appreciated when walking back at night from the wedding. The rooms, however, were a good size, fashionably decorated and clean - a very good first impression, even if some wear and tear became noticeable as the stay went on. I would caution guests to remember that it's above a pub - the noise didn't go on for a long time, however, and although I woke in the night, that disturbance came from some drunk students walking home (so not the hotel's fault). Amazing hotel and staff. we stayed in the Arthur Suite for our wedding anniversary and when we got into the room there was rose petals on the stairs and in a heart on the bed, there was also balloons which was so nice. that little added touch was fab. it was so beautiful, bed was comfortable and having a bath watching the tv was amazing. there was 2 baths a shower room and toilet, had all the things you need, iron ironing board hairdryer, kettle tea, coffee. Would highly recommend! The bar manager Wayne and his staff were so welcoming, and gave a very high standard of service. drinks and cocktails were fantastic, the cakes are to die for there anazing deffo a must!! all there staff were so polite and friendly. We also met Pam the hotel manager of Arthurs and Peaky blinders and she was fantastic. We have stayed in both Arthurs Churchtown and peaky blinders Southport and would highly reccommend them both for stays. Well done to all staff for making our stay so enjoyable we will deffo be returning to see you...
