Come in on a whim, ordered our drinks and food at 1pm. Seemed everything was going to be good. We got our drinks and no sign of food an hour later, no starters no mains, went to ask about it, got told that she would talk to the other staff and find me so I pointed to where myself and my boyfriend were sat, inside by the window, the staff member didn’t talk to the other staff she went outside to collect glasses and plates, when our food came she told us that she couldn’t find us, the starter was halloumi fries, salt and pepper chicken and chips with peppercorn sauce. Halloumi fries with mediocre at best. The salt and pepper chicken didn’t have any salt and pepper to it nevermind that the veg wasn’t even cooked, and the peppercorn sauce was watery and just tasted like cream nothing else. We were livid as we said if the started were good it’d be worth the hour wait but no it was horrid. The staff were oblivious, disoriented and didn’t know what they were doing. Their excuse was that they only had one chef on, but it’s a Saturday in June! We saw customers who had come in after us, get cutlery( we didn’t get any within the hour wait) get severed their drinks, starters and mains and leave before us. And to make it worse it wasn’t busy! So we finished our drinks had the starters that were not worth it, went to the bar asked to pay as we were not going to have the mains and to take them off our bill, they mattered between themselves as to what to do, in the end we have decided we are not going back, we had no apologies for the wait nor any compensation for it, we paid £32 for Diet Coke, two pints, halloumi fries, salt and pepper chicken and chips with peppercorn sauce. Absolutely awful, waited over an hour and still no sign of food. Kitchen staff seemed to not know how to run a restaurant. The waiter seemed rather arrogant. More concerned about getting people drinks than taking food orders. The atmosphere is dead, was not busy at all(even though the waiter states they were rushed off their feet, must be having a laugh) They had decided to serve the smaller tables of 2 before our table of 4, absolutely ridiculous. Trays left on tables for us to get our own drinks off while the waiter gallivanted off to the bar. Will never be going back there, and for a business to have opened 3 weeks ago should have done a lot more practice as the experience was just sloppy, poor...

First time in this place, we only stopped as my friend need toilet. 🚽😜. We order some drinks and the waiter , Pamela, was very nice and mentioned that they open the kitchen like 2 weeks ago. She convinced us to have some food.

The half roast chicken was incredibly, also came with a big portion of good chips , good portion of coleslaw and good salad.

The service from Pamela was 👍 great.

We ended having some 🍵 Tea and gin tonight after dinner as it was a fabulous singer and the regulars do karaoke too in high standards.

Price was great if you compare with Liverpool, definitely I will back soon...
