The food is lovely in here however, I booked over the phone more than 3 hours prior to my given slot and received a confirmation text to confirm my booking. I arrived with my friend 10 minutes prior and informed them that I had booked over the phone, I gave in my name with which I had booked and I was told that they had received no such booking which was untrue. As I showed them the confirmation text, I was then told that I shouldn’t have been able to book over the phone on the same day. I felt the staff were extremely rude to us even though there were multiple tables that were free. I didn’t get an apology just a rude statement of “we are fully booked and you did not book a table”. (When it was clear we did!) We then went to a lovely Italian restaurant Sorrento’s, just across the road that I would highly recommend. Absolutely Perfect Mother’s Day Meal! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We visited Suay today for Mother’s Day, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish! My mum, dad, and I were warmly welcomed by the staff, who made the occasion feel extra special. The atmosphere was lovely—cozy, elegant, and perfect for a family celebration.

The food was absolutely delicious! The standout dishes for us were the salt and pepper prawns to start, which were perfectly crispy and packed with flavor, and the prawn Pad Thai, which was one of the best we’ve ever had—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced.

The service was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and thoughtful without being intrusive. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate such a special day.

A really nice hidden gem in little old formby The restaurant is really nice friendly staff Great vibe .

My wife and 2 friends had been told about this place so decided last Sunday to pay a visit .

There is a 2 couse menu with a few options and very reasonable at £17.95 @ head

Got a couple of drinks in while the prawn crackers had arrived

For starters I got wonton noodle soup like dave Our wives got satay sticks and ribs

Really generous portion Infact the soup was like a main meal

2nd course we got 2 masamam curry And 2 pad Thai noodles
