My son brought us to this Yemeni restaurant for low budget good food. Spot on good 😊. The Fahsah was amazing.. it was chicken cooked with whipped fenugreek in a claypot. I had ordered this by mistake due to miscommunication.. but it turned out to be a better choice. The lamb biryani was good too, if you like lamb. All the dishes came with complementary soup (a-bit too sour for my taste), tomato salsa, salad (free refillable) and lemon wedges. We ordered naan and hummus in addition. Read moreYou should not underestimate the food quality by its surroundings, not the best part of the City however their grilled fish is awesome, super delicious. If you like fish, order it in advance so they don’t run out. Even my 8 year old son cleaned the fish to the bone (there’s me thinking I will help him finish it ;-)).
Their ‘wet’ naan is so good, we go back for that on its own and we are over an hour’s drive away.
Have a go, take your family and it’s a no frills place, just down to earth and comfortable.
