Amici & Bici — Restaurant in Sheffield

Update 22nd jan: went back in because I wanted to try again here, I've heard so many lovely things about it. This time there was a price error on a menu outside however the waitress was really supportive and gave it me at the lower (advertised) price even though it's a printing error and is cheaper than the other panini's. The place smelled clear and calm too - so I've lifted it up to 4* out of 5*.

I will be back again to try it out in a month or so. 🙂

16th Jan: Ok so this is not bragazzis. I wanna make that clear. However, I wanted to support another cafe if I could especially as bragazzis keep under ordering sandwich bread (😭) and so plumped to host a meeting here. I ordered the spice chai latte with almond milk and it was a huge treat. I mean, this drink is dope! It's creamy and warming with a punch and great flavour. Perfectly made and you MUST try it!

I decided to get some food, unfortunately (nothing to do with the staff) there was a super unpleasant strong chemical in the air that kept being sprayed I think it may have been a plugin, or wafting in from the bathroom it was floral and powdery that caught at the back of the nose and throat which did rather spoil the tasty goats cheese panini I ordered 😬 so...

We ordered from here last week (13th/14th October by phone at 1830 expecting delivery within 1hr 30m, as advised by the takeaway. As nothing had arrived by 2000 we called again and was assured our order would be delivered within 45m. By 2015, still nothing had been delivered, and as the order had been placed almost 2 hours prior, called a final time, only to be met with no answer and our order never turned up. Fortunately, we intended to pay with cash, and while disrupted service is perfectly understandable in the current climate, this lack of service is an embarrassment, and to not bother providing any further contact or even a verbal apology is a joke.

This was our first visit for my grandmother's 78th birthday. The place is so modern and clean. The staff couldn't do enough for us and was really attentive and obliging (Molly, Isobel and Monica) we really got to know the staff and we was made to feel so comfortable. There is indoor and outdoor seating which is covered over or you can sit in a sun spot. Honestly it's a place you could sit in all day, a bonus they have Free Wi-Fi. The food was unbelievable and so fresh! We all had something different and everything was top notch. Again I just want to say how attentive...
