Visited yesterday with my partner. Old/ middle-aged guy was serving us wearing glasses (my guess is that heās the leader/ owner of this shop) had an attitude problem, so itās ironic that thereās a plastic holder with a sign on the till saying something along the lines of ārude behaviour wonāt be tolerated towards staffā blah blah. Makes me question if this is reflected on this guy himself.
This guy had no smile nor did he even have the decency to greet us. I even complimented how this shop looks nice/ is well maintained and he had the most blandest and snobbish expressions Iāve ever seen from any person Iāve ever complimented.. and yes, he heard me.
Anyway, me and my partner sidewashed his ignorant and snobbish behaviour and stayed friendly. When my partner bought all the sweets she/ I wanted and we left the shop, she noticed something looking off on the receipt on the amount she was charged; so we walked back in.
She explained her doubt in a polite manner and this same guy started getting all defensive and had an undertone of attitude in his voice, moaning that this business has been open since 2016 .. blah-di-blah. This guy has no customer service skills whatsoever and I donāt think heās ever been trained on it.
He needs to go on a training course about how to speak to customers for a start.
The chocolate Barfi was absolutely rubbish by the way. I encourage people reading this review not to bother buying it. As for the guy, please avoid talking to him in a friendly manner. He doesnāt care to even just greet, let alone shrug off anyone complimenting his shop or just trying to be social.
I will drop this review on every...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreweek after eid all old stuff, Gajar halwa was sour, when I complained the guy ate it and said "its got lemony taste because of may be they put one ingredient more than what they should have" apne doesn't accept when there is a mistake. you should taste all the sweets everday to make sure its not expired before you put it on display. If it was a white person he probably would have apologised and took that gajar halwa out of shelf, he still kept it...
Read moreGood bakery overall. Except for the pastries, I was expecting them to have pastries but they didn't. I tried their chicken patties but they were awful. However their falooda drink is just mind blowing. They also have galactic mix jellies, which one can but at Tesco for £2 - 450grams and they are selling a less than half of it for £1.39. I just couldn't be bothered...
