Chaii Nastha is without doubt one of the best hidden gems in Sheffield. The desi breakfast was filling, full of flavour and really well put together – you can tell it’s made fresh and with care. Portions are generous and the prices are more than fair for what you get, which makes it even better.
The highlight for me was the chai. It’s rich, warming, perfectly spiced and genuinely one of the best cups I’ve had anywhere in the UK. It turned a good meal into a great one.

The heating was off. The second problem is that after we ordered we had to wait 45 mins in the cold for our food to arrive. Thirdly, when the food did arrive the puris were overcooked and hard. After this was pointed out to the waitress, the staff did not seem to be too concerned. Chaii nastha is also understaffed hence the 45 min wait for our food. I will not be visiting again and would advise others...
