If she was to eat gluten this can cause serious illnesses such as bowel cancer, problems affecting pregnancy, therefore a very serious illness. My sister visited dominoes on 27.01.2024 at around 10pm and asked for gluten free menu, where she was rudely tossed a piece of scrunched up paper and told ‘that’s all we have and if you want anything you need to speak to my manager’. My sister asked to speak to the manager and he was extremely rude and was listing pizza’s that contained gluten, clearly having no understanding / training around this serious illness. Alongside this, all of the staff members were huddled staring at her and laughing, she witnessed a pizza maker making the pizzas without wiping the sides, highlighting a significant amount of cross contamination in that kitchen. The lack of help and the rudeness of the staff made her experience extremely uncomfortable. The food I ordered arrived cold. The pizza had very little cheese on it and was overcooked, so overall it was dry and not very palatable.
I phoned and complained about the poor quality of the pizza and the manager, to his credit, told me they would prepare another one and send it "straight out".
