Shocking from start to finish... Went there with my wife and we were both really looking forward to it!!! Arrived at the restaurant (on time) bumped into what we believed to be a manager (lady with dark hair in her 50S..) looked very grumpy and just pointed at a table and said go and seat there, cold unfriendly so not the best of start but oh well sometimes these things do happen!!! Anyway one of the waitresses came to take our order, she was young and very friendly as a professional athlete I asked to have a steak, with poached eggs (available in the starters) and some prawns with my steak (which is also available on the menu) the young waitresses very friendly told us that he should be fine for me to have that as my meal so all good. 2 minutes later, miserable grumpy manager comes and very sarcastically said your order isn’t normal can’t do it... she came across as very rude and just kept telling me that I was basically a weirdo for wanting to eat that!! All the ingredients were on the menu and that is what I wanted to eat!!! If she came back and said look, sorry we can’t do that I would of had no issue with it!! But never have I come across someone as rude and miserable as this woman which I hope will be reading this :) she then told me and my wife to leave the restaurant and we were so shocked we couldn’t believe it!!! so overall extremely disappointed and would definitely not be recommending this to...

This place is such a hidden gem! The food was all incredible and the portion sizes were huge, you won’t leave hungry!

We paid £85 for 2 starters, 2 mains + 1 side, 2 desserts and 2 cocktails - we even got 2 free shots at the end too so very very reasonable at 40ish per person!

There’s a big selection of dishes on the menu with a decent choice of vegetarian options - at least a few in each section to choose from.

The bruschetta was really flavourful. My partner had the mixed Italian bread starter and the flavoured butters with that were absolutely divine! Both the mains were super filling and wonderfully cooked. I had the Salmon and shrimp tagliatelle and they did not scrimp on the salmon or prawns which I was delighted with! We were absolutely stuffed by the time we left!

We were sat by the fish tank which made for a very relaxing setting too. The atmosphere with the music and lighting was perfect.

Staff were friendly and very quick with the service!

A wonderful, independent, local restaurant that deserves support over the chain restaurants that will serve you half the portions for the same...

Came here after looking through Google Maps for a good reviewed Italian in Sheffield. We were given a table in the window which was nice as we could also watch the world go by outside on the busy Ecclesfield Road. We were given menus and a list of the days specials. We ordered bruschetta from the main menu and fried Brie off of the specials menu. Both were really good starters and we shared them between the three of us. For the main courses we chose Calzone, which also allowed me to choose four fillings, which was really nice idea. I then chose Bolognese sauce for the top. Again there was a choice of sauce for the top which is very rare to see. So well done the kitchen for providing the choices. We also ordered Mushroom risotto, and Rigatoni Pollo. We all enjoyed our meals, which were all generous portions and wouldn’t hesitate in returning if we are back in the area and...

Beautiful food, cooked perfectly with hearty portion sizes. Our server (young man with a Birmingham accent) was lovely, attentive, and polite. There is a laid back atmosphere and cosy decor, perfect for a date night or family meal. Vegan menu/kids menu. Pricing is ££ - a meal for two, 2 starters and 2 mains could be anything from £45-60. I would recommend the Linguine Verde/Verdi (it’s the pasta with cream, pesto, courgettes, peas etc.). Our server left us with the parmesan cheese on the table which was much appreciated and unorthodox of an Italian restaurant. He also allowed us to take what I couldn’t finish, including the remainder of our wine! Garlic bread was very garlicy- just how we like it. 100% will be returning to this place.
