Disappointing Experience at Greggs: Lack of Toilets and Breach of Regulations
I recently visited Greggs for a quick bite to eat and to enjoy a moment of relaxation in their seating area. However, my experience took an unexpected turn when, after making a purchase and settling in, I discovered the lack of basic facilities that left me disappointed and concerned.
Upon requesting to use the toilet, I was informed by the cashier staff that Greggs did not have a toilet available for customers. I was taken aback by this revelation, considering that I was under the impression that most establishments, especially those serving food and beverages, would provide such facilities for their patrons. The cashier explained that they were not legally obliged to offer toilets when the seating capacity was 10 or fewer chairs.
Curious about this policy, I decided to count the number of chairs in the establishment. To my surprise, there were a total of 11 chairs inside and an additional 8 chairs outside. This meant that Greggs was in clear violation of the regulations regarding the provision of toilets for customers. Despite the sunny weather outside, the lack of adequate facilities left a sour taste in my mouth and overshadowed what could have been a pleasant visit.
While I understand that businesses must adhere to regulations and guidelines, I believe that customer comfort and basic needs should also be taken into consideration. A simple amenity like a toilet should not be overlooked, especially in a food service establishment where customers may need to use such facilities.
In conclusion, my experience at Greggs was marred by the absence of a toilet and the apparent breach of regulations regarding seating capacity and toilet provision. I hope that Greggs will address these issues promptly to ensure that all customers are provided with a comfortable and accommodating experience when visiting their...

Inside is relatively spacious but seating is sparce and not kept clean nor is the waste bin/area and the fabric for the chairs is stained. The food is the usual Greggs standard though the coffee has always been good for me (flat white). It needs something doing with seating area and waste collection, new bench seats with tables...

It used to be better, the last couple times I've gone in I've left without buying anything because everything vegetarian was either out of stock or cold. There's also often people who will follow you in to ask you to buy them something, but that's probably...
