The Corner Kitchen Cafe — Restaurant in Sheffield

Poor quality food! Rude owner! Staff swears at us! Here is a place that you spend your money and receive a poor quality food and f...word instead! First visit, ordered english breakfast and coffee which has been cold and poor quality. Toast was rubbish the cheapest stuff you could ever find. Cutlery was not clean we ve asked to change them. We have not complain as it is a small family business and the owner had her baby and a friend with her in the shop and we thought is not polite to complain in front of family. Finally when we finished our food we found the next door neighbour which was another shop keeper put an offensive note on our car screen and when we wanted to get out he start giving us a f...word for parking outside his shop. (There is a free carpark out side the shop with no parking restriction). We have not answered him but l went back to the kitchen corner shop to inform them about their next door shop and give them a feedback! Surprisingly they ve told me that there is not any specific parking bay there and everyone can park everywhere. They suggested me to go and park in same place to annoy the neighbour. I said no l can not! Then the Kitchen corner staff start giving me an f..... word and told me"f...off get lost then " if you can not swear to next door...

Popped in last week having delivered a job in Sheffield. Small cafe typical of places that I have spent years eating in. Good . Normal English full breakfast with toast and a mug of Tea. Well pleased with my breakfast.

Not so good. Staff were reluctant to take Scottish fiver (plastic) . Thought the Scottish accent/ Scottish firm uniform & van outside might have been a giveaway that some Jock money might be heading your way but not keen. Normally I would have politely left ( just a thing I do) but persevered and found enough coins to scrape the meal. Thing is 99 % happy with my visit but it so early could have been 100. Still gave 5 star review though - too...
