Béres — Restaurant in Sheffield

I go every Friday and have for a long time with an order of 3 to 4 sandwiches. The newish women with the blonde hair gets the sandwich order wrong that I ask for everytime. So we resulted in handing over a written order of 3 to 4 sandwiches over the counter🙄 just to get it right. Its come to the point I'm trying to avoid the blonde haired women serving me because again even with a written order handed to her over the counter, she still gets it wrong. You get back to open the sandwich to find it's missing crackling or it's not dipped, or ones got apple but no apple was ordered. It's only 3 to 4 sandwiches. Jesus. I'll be going...

I have been having pork sandwiches from Beres for almost 57yrs when there was only 1 shop. As a boy I really enjoyed the best pork sandwich in the UK. And almost 60 yrs later my opinion has not changed. I've travelled all over the UK and Europe but I have never had a better pork sandwich. The taste of the meat has not changed even though sadly Mr and Mrs Beres sadly passed away. Son and daughters carrying on the tradition of taste and quality. Thank you for giving me such pleasure...

A SERVICE WITHOUT A SMILE OR PERSONALITY! For the price they charge you'd at least expect a bit of a smile and maybe some pleasantries. Been popping in here every now and then for over 20 years and it's always the been same miserable, mood hoovering feelings of them been put out for you daring to go and purchase a sandwich.
