If there was a rating for the most welcoming pub in England, the New Bridge Inn would be a contender. Upon reading the reviews, I walked the short distance from Sainbury’s to try it out. I entered the pub and realized this was a favorite with the local townspeople. Whereupon, I made the mistake of asking for a menu in my American accent. I was informed that they do not serve food, however, a gentleman offered me part of his sausage rolls, that he had brought in from a nearby Greggs.
