Second to none! This experience was so profound; I’m not quite sure I have the words to describe how pleasant my time here was! I first of all, would like to say such a huge thank you to both Adrian and Louise; these members of staff had such an elegant and graceful demeanor throughout serving us our afternoon tea, they were so exceptionally accommodating and professional, which made us feel as if were royalty. I can absolutely tell that you both have a passion for what you do, and it makes all the difference. I have been to many afternoon teas, very expensive ones; I’ve had afternoon tea in stately homes, in grand halls and castles, even in quaint coffee shops situated in historical villages. But Jameson’s Tea rooms blew me away! The Tea room itself radiates such positivity. Upon entry, I immediately noticed how content- looking customers were sat comfortably, sipping their teas, enjoying their food and how staff were engaging positively with customers, laughing and joking. Soon after, Adrian approached us and showed us to our table where our friend, Naomi who had arrived 15 minutes earlier, was sat. He joked with us that “poor Naomi has been sat waiting ages for you”; I found it wonderful how he’d remembered her name, although the tearooms were full and he’d been busy chatting to other customers, a very lovely touch. The menu had plenty of choice, the prices were pleasantly surprising! And once our food arrived, we were each in awe of how much food came, and how delicious it appeared! We immediately tucked in, to discover that obviously the best quality of ingredient’s were used to make our sandwiches and cakes- each bite leaving you wanting more! We received regular check-ins throughout our meal by Louise, to ensure we were happy and had everything we wanted/ needed. I have no complaints; not one. I was sad to say goodbye! Staff, food; both the amount served, and the quality of it, atmosphere- chefs kiss. If I could give you all more stars; I would. I’m excited for my next...

We rocked up on a Sunday afternoon having driven passed and seen this wonderful decorated tea shop that stood out amongst the other shops. A quick turn around and parked up and off we went to see if they had a table. It was very busy however they could accommodate us outside which was perfect as it was a beautiful sunny day. We were presented with an extensive menu with a variety of afternoon teas to choose from as well as light bites sandwiches and various other items. we decided to pick the Splendour Afternoon tea (see photos). We wasn't disappointed and very impressed with the selection. Now this isn't an ordinary afternoon tea with quiche, pork pie and the normal items associated. This is a proper afternoon tea with hasn't been altered in anyway and hold true to the tradition of afternoon tea. All served on bone china cups and plates that makes the whole place stand out from the crowd. The staff were attentive at all times and decor inside was just perfect. If you're looking for a "traditional" afternoon tea to take someone out then this is the place for you. A little bit of an oasis amongst the variety of shops around it. You won't be...

Firstly I have to say that Jameson's is a great place for amazing afternoon teas and we have been there because of this on multiple occasions..... This weekend they managed to exceed all our expectations however, as they did us a private evening function to celebrate a retirement. This is probably not what you would expect from what is a very sedate tearooms during the day, but at 5pm on Saturday it was transformed. We had welcome drinks, a bar, live music and the most fantastic buffet. Our 45 or so guests were blown away by the hospitality and level of catering provided by owners Mark and Suzy and front of house led by Louise with service from Antonia and Eve was brilliant. We had local hugely talented musician Max Sharp providing a range of great party songs with keyboards, guitar and sax, all finishing with a couple of Christmas bangers which had everyone up and dancing. A great night with dancing, music and most of all great food and hospitality from the whole Jameson's team....
