McDonald's — Restaurant in Sheffield

Update - July 2025 Wife and kid wanted one and asked me if I wanted anything. "No, cos they'll get it wrong anyway" I said. "Actually, I'll have some halloumi fries, surely they can't get that wrong" I added. Guess what, fries were missing. Told Maccy Ds and, basically, they couldn't give a ....... They'll end up closing this store down if they're not careful. Still better than Burger king though......just.

Update - June 2025 The kid wanted a Maccy Ds so I thought I'd visit instead and give it another chance. Still as bad. Staff were OK, and order, for the most part, was correct, but how on earth can I have half a patty missing? Has somebody helped themselves to it? Think I'm done with Maccy Ds now. .....still better than Burger king though.

Update - 2024 We've ordered a few times recently from this store, and I've got to be honest - it's gone downhill. On multiple orders, there has been something missing or a burger prepared incorrectly. Try to report the issue to Macdonalds, and they'll give you some jargon about how they can't do anything. No wonder Maccy Ds are as rich as they. I'd use Five Guys instead. A lot nicer, and they get your order correct.

Original review - 2018. We all know what to expect from Macdonald's. Not classy by any stretch but does the job when you can't be bothered to cook or are hungover. This one ain't too bad. My orders always seem to be correct and the staff have always been pleasant enough with me (Maybe cos I'm such a nice guy). The usual amount of "chavvy" teenagers that normally hang around Macdonald's restaurants is not too bad at this one, there is some but the clientele seen to be mostly shoppers that can't be bothered or gym goers that are having a naughty...

As soon as i walked in i nearly instantly fell over by slipping on lettuce in front of the main entrance. Then was greeted to the sight of every single table being dirty with food all over the majority of them. When ordering the collection area was filthy with straws, napkins, sauce, and chips all over the floor. As well as the restaurant looking a state the kitchen looked very unsanitary too. When we finally got our food we went to sit down and there was not one single clean table. We had to settle with the cleanest one with a spilled sauce pot on it. The floor under the table was vile too. Then the food, the chips were freezing and tasted very oily and had a horrible bland taste that 2 packets of salt couldn't even mask. We both left our chips and went on to the wrap which mine was wrong i ordered bbq and received garlic mayo. I got it changed and i was still disappointed with the taste and presentation. After trying to eat the wrap with the vile mess around me and staff just outside smoking or other staff just stood in the kitchen i decided to take some photos and leave the food. Worst fast food experience of my life i will definitely not be eating McDonald's again especially if that's what the resturant condition is like at 1 AM with little to no...

Used ti make many days trips to Sheffield to help a former colleague and friend not of mine but my late husbands and visited this place for snacks mostly drinks as I am allergic to a lot of McDonald's items The tea was OK and the hot chocolate albeit too sweet sugary but I truly felt that this place was a hotbed of trouble as even rhe staff wore alert wristbands The scene of my demise here because the guy who begged me to visit him before he got totally grounded by his son and daughter was told to use a provided by his family iPhone as they his family were find my phone tracking him and they caused me a huge court case for just visiting tbe guy THAT He had begged me to so do Another very elderly man used to turn up at my house and beg to have the ride up from.the south with me and tell the staff a right pack of lies as head caused me so much trouble One night ringing the AA because the car wouldn't start to drive home I was looking down downland at the phone and police arrived and sent for breathalyser kit I have never ever drank a single mouthful of alcohol They said that the staff had ordered same Liars ot was on the SAR from.police my life ruined by lies Aided by a scruffy variety...
