Firstly we eat A lot of middle eastern food, and I will only ever leave brutally honest reviews.. we had this place recommended months ago, we've tried to call in numerous times but struggled to park, mainly due to busy rd and probably because it's always busy, so we go to 2 others on the same road..busy food places in my opinion are a good thing.. we both ordered the number 20..this came on a hot cast iron plate loaded with lots of thinly sliced lamb meat and cooked onion ,2 freshly cooked flatbreads a mixed salad and 3 dips each..we also ordered a portion of chips and 2 pops. Visibily making and cooking the flatbread and are freshly cooked to order and was great to see. Food arrived fast!. It was hot and fresh...salad consisted of finely sliced lettuce, onion, tomato, olives, jalapenos, carrot (I think) and my favourite bright red cabbage.. the dips all seemed to be made in house as I could pick out the ingredients, and if they're bought in...they're very high standard and not the usual ones most places use.. a green one tasted of olive oil and possibly avocado lovely and smooth, a sour cream and the chilli one was just perfect and not stupidly hot. We also ordered a portion of chips and 2 Rubicon. Now the meat is100% the star of the show!!.. I think they layer the shwarma spit using fine slices of lamb and onion in-between the layers...I maybe wrong.. the first mouthful left us VERYYYYYYY happy we managed to get parked up outside!! ( Both disabled) The lamb had the tastiest of marinade with a nice slight bite of chilli and spices included. Whatever spices are used are perfect! Chips were hot and crispy. We both couldn't finish all of our meals as they're not tight on portion size..so I asked for takeout boxes for my tea!.. before we left I ordered the same meal to take home for the following day...( Number 20) .this obviously speaks volumes!! We're both foodies and enjoy trying new places to us. The staff are friendly, efficient and smart.. the shop is very clean and bustlingly busy but fast, and the food prep areas and fridges organised and spotless... I think we've just found our new favourite place to eat in Sheffield!! Fantastic fellas...keep it up and much appreciated!...the entire bill came to less than £22! Finally...the takeout I brought home.... I've just opened the bag and everything was still very fresh as they put everything in boxes and wrap after with tin foil...the salad was fresh and a good portion and the sauces were enough too.. heated up easily and enjoyed every mouthful with some for supper haha.. We will definitely be returning... probably very soon too as that meal was the tastiest I've had in a while....and no sticky tables for once!! Well worth the drive from Rotherham... ...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHorrible , unprofessional customer service !!
Second time I've been here and at the till was an unprofessional, rude cashier who didn't understand the order. I never understand why you aren't able to order chips with salad and donner in kebab restaurant . She said thats not on the menu and that they don't do it. I told her I can see you have donner and chips behind you and salad in the front . So whats the problem why you can't you serve them on a plate together. She said " Ahh okay "" that will be higher price, which is proved by her that she is trying to charge me extra judging by the menu price. She didn't want to understand that I need some donner, chips and salad on a plate, I did explain several times and she start getting rude and giving attitude. It was the four of us and I'm sure any restaurant will be happy to serve a large number of customers, meaning more customers is more money into business. (especially if they opened few days ago .. ). She didn't even asked if we like to drink something. There was roughly seven other customers in the restaurant , and we been told we have to wait 15-20 minutes to be served.... Later on when I made payment she don't even know what she charged for, just trying to overcharge me because I had an argument with her over the order. When I started to look at the receipt because clearly I didn't order that much; she grabbed the receipt off my hand, then said " Oh sorry can I just double check, i may have charged you something extra" . Eventually i found out she charged me £8 extra. However the food on menu looks quite cheap they charge £3 for shawarma, but the way they doing it its absolutely ridiculous. They put really small proportion of meat into the wrap, but if you order mixed donner on plate thats cost £7 plus chips, secondly they don't even ask you what kind of salad would like in your wrap. We had Lentil Soup which was even half full, and watery. If you don't catch them to tell they'll just put whatever in your wrap. They don't even put any sauce in your wrap and expect you to self serve. They leave few different sauce on all tables , and due to the warmness the sauces are watery and textureless. Overall, they shouldn't have invested so much money into the business which because the restaurant is looking amazing but however the service is rubbish ! Top on that, roughly three other kebab place opened on London road and another two opening soon, therefor they should have a more pleasing service that will be suitable for the place.I've been a chef for six years and three year's for sous-chef and another three years as head chef, so I have experience and I know how customers should be treated. Never going back. NOT recommended, easy to find better place on...

I have been to this takeaway several times because my colleagues go there. The food is really nice but despite telling them every time I canāt eat bread and Iām allergic, so I ask for just the chicken and salad, and say I canāt have any naan please, they still have twice torn a piece of naan bread and put it in the bottom of my tin box of chicken pieces. The first time I caught them doing it, and after some effort to convince them they reluctantly agreed to give it me without a piece of naan, the second time he specifically told me āno breadā but when I got home again I found they had torn a piece of naan and put it in the bottom of the box. This means I canāt eat the food so im pretty annoyed. Ive never actually left a review about anything like this, but in this day and age a reputable food place should understand that if a customer says they are allergic you donāt just sneak a piece of the food in anyway, just for the sake of it. Makes me wonder what else they do that is not so visible. Iāve never had this issue with any other kebab shop - itās pretty easy to just do chicken and salad without the...
