Absolutely amazing gin tour on a Friday afternoon!

I’d bought this for a Christmas present and we’d booked it on my partners birthday weekend as a treat. WHAT A TREAT IT WAS!!

We arrived and initially walked past the entry, but the gent came and met us, and walked us in. From the outset he was friendly and really knew his stuff about the building and its history, the making of gin and the collabs they work on, and distilling flavours and scents into their dilutables.

The samples and tasters were very forthcoming, and I will admit we walked (wobbled?) back to the Premier Inn talking very enthusiastically!

My personal favourites were the raspberry and cardamom pink gin, and the passionfruit, lime, and vanilla liqueur. My partner was VERY taken by the Chiaro Amaro (dill gin!!) made as a Co-Lab with a local restaurant.

We did end up buying 2 bottles from them, with a pleasant list of more we want to try out. I very much recommend the tour, and I will be looking at revisiting on a Saturday afternoon for the gin making class.

As a group, we went on a tour of the distillery with Elliot. It was incredibly informative and interesting and Eliot was clearly both knowledgable and passionate about gin production. We tried multiple gins produced by the distillery, each with different flavour profiles. All were fantastic. Overall, it was a highly enjoyable experience and I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to do something slightly different in Sheffield, especially those who want to support a small business. Even non gin lovers in the group were catered to so there is really something for everyone.
