Treatz Dessert Parlour, Sheffield — Restaurant in Sheffield

Have no issues with this restaurant when went eating in. Had a lovely experience fast serving time and a great dessert. On the other hand when ordered on Uber eats the experience is the complete opposite ordered back in March and the food arrived around half an hour late and was freezing cold both desserts ordered had to be reheated. In some respects I can understand that things like crepes can cool down quickly but it was literally stone cold and hard. As for the cookie dough we ordered which are usually very hot when first cooked that was also freezing so it was like our order had been stood for ages. I didn’t write a review at this time as it was the first time I had ordered for delivery from here so I assumed it was just an issue with the Uber driver being delayed which is sometimes unavoidable so I accepted it. Just ordered again tonight the order was meant to arrive at 22:45 and I didn’t receive it till 23:06 which wouldn’t of been an issue if this hadn’t happened previously. Now I’m starting to think the restaurant are responsible for the delays and not the Uber drivers. Ordered a crepe again which arrived freezing, hard and tough again. Also like the previous order in March this needed to be reheated to make it partially edible which obviously warmed the food up but it was still hard and tough which isn’t really acceptable when you’re paying around £11 for one dessert including delivery. I think this is a great place in person which I will visit again. But I’m going to steer clear of ordering for delivery again as the standard just isn’t acceptable when ordered...

Ordered a while back and forgot to review but the topic of dessert places came up in conversation and I was reminded of how disappointed I was with Treatz.

My boyfriend and I ordered a white chocolate cookie dough (£7.99) and an After Eight sundae (£8.99) to be delivered through UberEats. Looking at the menu, we thought the prices were a tad on the steep side but the reviews on Google were positive so we thought it would be worth it.

Our food turned up on time but that's about as positive as I can be. The £8.99 "sundae" was two scoops of ice-cream with a bit of whipped cream and an After Eight on top. Tasted nice enough, but not worth the money at all since it works out at about £4.50 per scoop!

The cookie dough came packaged in a 7" pizza box so we were expecting a more generous portion compared to the sundae. Unfortunately not. Sat inside the 7" pizza box was a little foil tray about 3"x3". This was the actual size of the cookie dough. Again, it tasted nice enough but it was a little on the cold side. Can only imagine their menu items are priced so high because of giant profit margins, because you definitely don't get what...

What an awful place to visit, such poor customer service. I came with my mum and sister and we were told that we would have to wait half hour and that we cannot stay inside. The guy took our name. So we went outside and thought to go for a short walk seen as it’s cold and we wanted to keep warm. We had a little stroll and came back after 15 mins and thought let’s see and the same guy gave our table away because we were literally not outside by the door!! He said you were not outside so I gave your table away. I said you didn’t say that we had to literally stay outside the door. He insincerely said sorry and asked us to wait outside again for the next table. I said to him you should have firmly said that we needed to stay outside the door and at least take our mobile phone number so you couldn’t have called me and I would have raced it back. He said ‘noted’ very rudely and walked away!
