Ocean Blue — Restaurant in Sheffield

First of all, this place has a 5star food hygiene rating, which makes me feel a lot safer about how the food is prepared and handled. Secondly, the staff are very welcoming, friendly and always up for a laugh. Even at really busy times they provide an excellent customer service. And most importantly.... the food. There is a big variety of food available. Which is essential in my house hold as having a picky teenager, a toddler and then there is us. I don't want to go to 3 different places just to have a takeaway. My daughter loves the cheesy chips with gravy. Staff are flexible in how to prepare dishes which is a bonus with my picky teenager. The fish is lovely and there is a lot of it too. Even the battered sausages, which at some places can be very greasy, are just right. I recently tried a chicken kebab and the quality of the meat was excellent. I love buying...

So I've been here twice and both times the food was delicious, both times we got 2 large chips, 3 large fish and a fish cake butty and everyone enjoyed everything. Plus the price was good at only £25.The only issue is the queue, both times there was a long queue, however the second time i must have been wanting between 20-30 minutes, the foods good, I just wish you didn't have to wait so long but that's not their fault.

I've always loved this fish and chip shop; it has become even better since its recent refurbishment. Now the chippy has reopened, it has gained a new function, the ability to call in an order and pick it up at the side of the building via a (pickup window) Their food is always of good quality, and the establishment is impeccably clean; remember to ask for items like chicken burgers when you enter the premises so they can prepare it for you in a timely fashion. The staff at the Ocean Blue have always been brilliant and cheerful, which in of itself makes this family fish and chip shop...
