Chris, the proprietor of the bar is a genuinely nice and thoughtful guy. Visited with two visually impaired mates, one of which he already knew. Must say he is a lovely stand up guy who couldn't be any more accommodating if he tried. I was drinking Warsteiner at £4.8 a pint. The bar itself is spacious, plenty of room and regardless of where you are seated. A really good outdoor and undercover smoking/vaping area if needed, with outside lights and heaters. Wentworth was amazing! The gardens, the sights and the history was fantastic! For £5 you can get access to the entire area! It takes about 25 mins to walk to the castle. And on the way you can walk through the amazing gardens. See the different types of structures along the way to the castle grounds! They have a Fantastic play area for kids and serve ice cream there. RUDE bar lady. If I could give 0 stars I would. Tried booking for food but didn't get a response. Went into pub which was half empty. Got a table, then went to bar to get drinks just to find the bar lady talking about us an pointing. We asked to order drinks, but was told bluntly 'we are not guaranteed a Sunday lunch', even though didn't ask for that. Got the drinks, which were served with complete silence.
