Karahi King — Restaurant in Slough

Mint yoghurt was off, I poured it over my takeaway food and after first taste realised and called the restaurant straight away. Staff members argued and said it wasn’t off suggesting I am lying and then said they will give me something free but not tonight as delivery driver has finished for the day. I said I will call back tomorrow as I am now without dinner and you cannot rectify your error. I called back the next day and was told they wouldn’t be replacing the full order but only partial which I wasn’t happy about as this is not what was agreed. I asked to speak to manager and was told there wasn’t one.I asked how long the partial order would take they said 25-30 mins.. I called after 1hour30 to chase and was told the delivery driver has left and is on route. 2hours later I call again to be told they are busy and have not made the order. At this point I’m furious and they give me the managers number. I call the manager immediately to express my disappointment and advise that I’ve waited several hours both evenings and still no compensation or apology. The manager said they can’t give out free food and there was nothing that he can do. Absolute disgrace, I’ve been a loyal customer for years and this is how they treat customers. Avoid and do not waste your time here! Mistakes happen it’s how you rectify it and I’ve had two evenings ruined due to wasted time and being lied to by...

Poor to no customer service. I went on my own not once did the waiter come see me to ask how the food was. Far from even giving it a 1 star rating. Am sure it states the foid is authentic am sorry to say but it's far from it! I asked for a chilli and garlic naan, but instead i received a garlic naan ... well tasted more like a tandoori roti with garlic and ghee on. Oh and let me mention that the quality of the chicken chettinadu was not authentic either and extremely small portion for a main, the chicken peices had clearly been sat their for long so no taste on that. The pappadom at start was burnt so i sent that back asked for fresh ones' which was poor quality... not to mention them chutneys which were watered down clearly, and them pots its served in... well not washed properly! Table settings were horrific definitely not restaurant standard! End result i know i won't be going back ever... am sorry but this is beyond a joke.. and when i asked the manager at the end where the chefs were from he said Delhi... well am sure in that case they would know the tastes, textures and smells of these food! Extremely dissatisfied and it's no wonder they're not on...

I ordered food online at 19:30 on a Friday night... delivery time was stated as 40 minutes. Come 20:30 an hour later....no food had arrived. Tried calling their number and some no answer and some weird answering machine service. A female stating her name... no mention of Karahi King... made me wander if they had closed due to Covid. I went out to get another takeaway from local fish and chip shop... going to Karahi king was too far ... so I decided I would speak to bank for a return of money the following day. I arrived with my takeaway at 21.05pm... and a taxi driver arrived at the same time with the order. The taxi driver stated everyone was complaining the food was very late. Anyway decided to just eat ... food was stone cold. We ordered paneer tikka wrap ... chicken tikka wrap and some other bits. The wraps just had lettuce thrown in them... with paneer/chicken... no flavour. The food was awful. I used to order wraps from here before as they used to be amazing. This place has gone down hill. I will never be ordering...
