American Pizza & Fish Bar — Restaurant in South Kesteven

Used to love this takeaway, pizza, burgers, fish and chips it was brilliant. The pizza was our favourite because of the cheeseburger crust. They always arrived on time, they always gave us what we ordered and it was perfecto.

A month or two ago we stopped having sauce turn up with our pizza. OK, fair enough, they stopped doing it. Then they started getting later and later. OK, the food was worth it. Then the food started arriving wrong. One or two orders, human error it happens...but then it happened more often. The pie we ordered didn't turn up, we waited hours.

I ordered a pizza at 3pm for a 7:30pm delivery, 9:30pm and four phone calls later...the delivery driver arrived while I was ringing so I went out to meet him...disconnected my call to the pizza place, to see the delivery drivers phone light up with the number I was ringing. Then he said: I've just arrived. So they were blatantly ignoring my number then. Ordered two same pizzas and one different, got three of the same. Rang up to inform them, was told they'd do my next pizza free. Ordered another through Just Eat and put a note reminding them of their promise, for them to cancel the order and never pick up to me again.

I don't know if they're still operating but from what used to be our favourite takeaway to the shambolic mess it became...I think new management needs to come in and...

We ordered from here when we were drunk and even then and even then it wasn’t fit for consumption. I reckon it’s only a matter of time before the FDA ask you to remove American from your name on grounds of slander. The chicken was barely cooked in the middle, the bacon was burnt and yet somehow still oinking. Even the drinks, literally the LEAST involved part of the process, were wrong. The chips were beige, anaemic, and somehow at times were completely hollow. And the amount of onion in the salad- Oh my god. We chugged vodka straight from the bottle and even then we could not weather the Onion Attack. I have spared a star because the food was at least warm, and the delivery man was kind enough to...

We have just recently tonight ordered from here after a long spell yet again as received not only wrong ordered items but items missing as well. When we ring up we get fobbed off with excuses. We can say we won't be ordering from these again. They used to be quite popular but have gone to the dogs. With no care in their so called customer service. Always next time they say with them well...
