Costa Coffee — Restaurant in South Kesteven

This was my 1st visit to this Costa.Its a good size & does have around 22 ish seating table options inside (theres no outdoor seating area)these are all on ground level .It's quite spacious inside & at the time of my visit(9.45am Sat 14 Oct 2023 ) it wasn't too busy,most of the tables had been cleared of used cups /trays etc & wiped down ,but I noticed the carpet could do with a good hoover/clean .I found the Staff on duty to be very pleasant when I inquired about the availability of tea cakes and placing my drinks order which was a medium Cappuccino, small Gingerbread latte along with 2 toasted tea cakes.The stencil for the chocolate sprinkles on my Cappuccino wasn't used which would of been a nice presentation touch otherwise the drinks were fine & the teacakes were nicely toasted. Cash or card payments are excepted..On this experience I would definitely return back when...

If your a local that goes in there everyday, then you will be welcomed with a smile. If your a normal person using costa as and when, then expect the blonde server who I believe is the team leader to be utterly rude. A death stare or look of faeces on her shoe should be expected. Order taken with no words. The order then thrown in front of you with no pointer as if it is yours or someone else’s, and certainly don’t ask. I thought maybe it’s a one off, but every time I went there it sadly has been the same, so have stopped going

There is a great cost the other side of town in the services where the staff couldn’t be more helpful, there is also a Starbucks at the station where again, super staff

This is one of the worst Costas I have been to. It might just have been a one off, however, cold coffee (it should have been hot), filthy tables even after they had so call been cleaned, most food items out of stock, the doorway covered the whole time in a pool of orange juice that had to be waded through.
