The service was so slow, disjointed and generally poor at this branch this morning I'll be suprised if any of those customers will come back.
Ordered a Philly Cheese burger meal (fries and a bottle of orange juice) and a bacon double cheeseburger. Milkshakes were not available. Had to use the self-order machine to order because of how many people were waiting by the small counter, couldn't get near it. Didn't see an order number on screen and the receipt printer was out of paper so I didn't know mt order number on screen. Had to ask for my order number, it took the guy a few minutes to find it - he printed the receipt out. 20 minutes after the receipt was printed, food arrived. Noone thought to replenish the paper in the machine so more customers using the same machine did the same thing as me. This was the "customer experience leader" guy, by the way: not really thinking it through. People who ordered before me were waiting that long for their food they gave up and asked for a refund.
It was apparent to me the staff were clearing the numbers off the screen to fiddle the service waiting timers. This was adding to peoples frustrations. I suspect the staff are pushed into prioritising drive thru and delivery collection orders over the customers who come inside.

Read moreAPPALLING SERVICE.....my daughter placed an.order for lunch to be delivered for her 4yr old and 1yr old Cost of meal just over £5 add delivery charges came to £11...order placed at 12.50 today and checking the order on the just eat website..this stated it would be with her by 13.15 -13.30 this then changed to delivery time of 14.pm and 14.30.pm then stated it had delivered at 14.39 ..which was not the case... So my daughter rang McDonald's and spoke to a staff member who said she could not do anything and that my daughter should contact the delivery company after unsuccessfully trying numerous times and the phone being put down on her from just eat she tried Leyland McDonald's again to ascertain if they could contact driver to be told no they only know his name....so my daughter stated he will be coming back to get an order...response..yes ..so my daughter said can you ask him then ...McDonald's staff then said there is nothing they can do and to contact Just eat ....To which they have not answered any calls made to them . Not one of these company's are prepared to help......however the Money has been taken out of the account for food not delivered .....this complaint will be going higher .Appalling customer service from JUST EAT..and...
Read moreMcdonalds leyland - last night at 9pm i came to the drive thru and all I wanted was 3 hot drinks. Was told to park in a bay, no problem, BUT after having to wait just shy of half an hour! For them to bring 3 hot drinks is a piss take. I couldn't come inside as my toddler was asleep in the car after a long drive. The place was dead inside and out, the drive thru had roughly 5 customers in the time I was sat waiting, 2 of which had to park up to wait too and both were served their orders before mine, which was a hell of a lot more than 3 drinks. Had to collar the staff member bringing out the orders to ask what was going on only. Got my drinks finally and got home one of which was mine and couldn't drink it, tasted vile, like burnt coffee beans, the other another coffee which was left too after it had a horrid burnt taste, the third was a tea to which was fine except they never offered us sugar or milk so had to ask for them to get some. If I hadn't paid £7 for them I'd have just left. Absolute piss take, the staff are miserable kids with no manners. Avoid this mcdonalds it's worth the drive to go...
