Last 4 to 5 times we have been here we have had problems. Couldn't have anything fried because their was something wrong with the fryer, then we couldn't have any thing with garlic, another time they'd ran out of mayonnaise, another time ran out of chicken, food not hot and had to take it back. Last night was the final straw, five of us went there to eat. Waited 10 minutes to order our food . Eventually got served and we ordered 4 lasagnes and one veg lasagne. They'd run out and only had one beef lasagne, so had to order other meals. Wouldn't allow us to swap peas for colslaw, as I don't like peas, no dressing with the salad on one of the meals, so had to go and tell them whilst my food was getting COLDER. Fish was dry and couldn't eat it. Asked if we could have a little extra gravy for the steak and kidney pudding as that was very dry too and was told we would have to pay an extra £1.70 for it which is a little extortionate. This was a birthday meal for a friend and was ruined by poor quality food and service. For a Saturday night you would expect them to be stocked up, but then some of the other times we have been their have been midweek and been the same. It's the worst Wethersooons we have been too and will not be going there again and I would definitely not recommend it if you want food. If I could give no stars then...
Read moreWe went to wetherspoons today to be left disappointed when we had to move because the large doors connected to the beer garden where people smoke had been opened completely which resulted in an unbareable smell of cigarette smoke being let in, we came with my grandad today who has a serious health condition and we were forced to move tables as the smell of the cigarette smoke was too overwhelming..a member of staff was made aware but they were far from helpful and didn't even give an apology, it was an inconvenience having to carry our plates to another table..we understand that it was busy and you cannot cater for everyone but the doors were opened because one person asked..we wasn't asked if we was happy with it, when we're eating our food it would if been very off putting for us.. we also weren't the only people that were complaining about the smell of smoke, a couple came in and sat at a table next to us in order to get away from the smell only to end up deciding to leave after the doors were opened...better customer service with some staff is...

First, we were brought a drink that was visibly damaged, looking like it had been kicked around before being served. This was not the start we had hoped for.
When our food arrived, it didn’t improve. The beans and sausages were cold, and the breakfast wrap looked as though it had been mishandled before being placed on the plate.
To make matters worse, halfway through our cold breakfast, we had to move so a member of staff could access a cupboard to turn the heating down because another customer nearby was too hot. (This customer was sitting right next to a radiator.)
But by far the worst part of the meal was the sheer number of tiny flies around our table — it was unbelievable.
Overall, this was a dreadful experience, and we left feeling extremely disappointed. I hope this is a one-off, but it certainly wasn’t what we’ve come to expect from...
