Indian Brasserie — Restaurant in South Tyneside

Absolutely disgusted at treatment that myself little boy of 3 and friend received last night by the staff. After paying the bill the waiter said that there was mess left by son ie rice etc .We were then told police had been called and was subjected to verbal abuse by the manager/waiters. They then said If we pay £25 for cleaning we could go. Because I was humiliated and wanted to get home with my son I paid it. My friend rang the police and no police had been called. It is clearly a scam and I'm so upset at the abuse that we got. Will never ever go back to the place there are plenty of other decent Indian restaurant s on that road and I wouldn't eat there again out...

We were driving through shields and decided to ask if we could order a takeaway, from the Indian Brasserie, 20 minutes later and £29 lighter we took our food home. The onion bhajis just tasted plain, no spice at all, the chicken korma was watery, again with no flavour, with large pieces of chicken that tasted of nothing, obviously thrown in at last minute. The pilau rice that was ordered was just plain boiled rice with a few peas thrown in. Started off horrendous should of walked out when we first went in due to no social distancing in the waiting room packed out !!! Table layout nooootbad Only Stayed due to being starving 😂.. 1st pint sent back not 1 bubble flat as a .... next ones the same but put up with them only drank a inch out !!
