Kachina — Restaurant in Southampton

Absolutely revolting food delivery. Ordered from Uber Eats. Stone cold, reheated food. Chips rock hard, noodles with hardly any chicken and a minimal amount of aged veg. Fried rice more boiled with the most highly processed chicken you'd ever seen in your life. Everything looked wrong about it, like it had came out of a bin about a month ago and reheated. Prior to realising how awful the food was. I stupidly and regretfully ate about 1/1.5 chicken balls, and a mouthfull of noodles and became unwell 4/6 hours following which lasted 2 hours before my symptoms resided. I should have thrown it all in the bin instantly. It literally screamed dont eat me!!! I am do annoyed that I didnt listen to the bad reviews. They need investigating by the food hygiene standards agency IMO. There was something so very, very, very wrong with the food we received from Kachina. Kachina used to do lovely food. However recently its gone downhill. The takeaway I had tonight was awful. The vegetables in the mixed veg were dirty! I actually saw soil on the cabbage! The omelette I had tasted of a strange dairy taste and I hope I don't fall ill tomorrow. Chips were dry, prawn balls were old and fried beyond endurance. Yes it came quickly and it was hot but the discoveries I made upon eating far outweighed any good Kachina made. I don't want to leave a bad review but this is the 2nd time I have ordered and not been able to finish my dinner due to unacceptable food standards. That's nearly £30 I have spent on food that was inedible. The other takeaway I had saw the curry tasting like washing up liquid. I hope by posting this the owners will do a review of how they cook and prepare food and get this rating down by replacing it with a ton of good reviews....

Ordered through Deliveroo 28th April 2023 and it was delivered 45 minutes late. The latest it was supposed to be delivered by was 19:55. I called Kachina at 20:10 to enquire where it was I was told there was traffic and call back in 10 minutes if not arrived, I did explain that I was only 5 minutes drive away and I could see the road leading to my flat and there was no traffic. By 20:20 it had still not arrived so I called again and again I was told traffic. I again told the women I the phone how close I lived and there was no traffic but the woman again said there was traffic and then hung up on me.
