ShakeAway Southampton — Restaurant in Southampton

Can honestly say was by far the worst customer service I have ever recieved. We stood in a queue of say 4 people waited atleast 5 minutes just to be acknowledged and when we were got told to wait again. The member of staff then proceeded to drink her cheap redpoll obviously going on a break. Why not just serve the 4 people in the queue get the orders in then we wait for the actual drink. Shocking walked straight past us and didn't even say a word everyone behind us in the queue clearly did not want to wait any longer and left. So loss of service all because a member of staff couldn't take a break 1 minute later... then who I can only assume was the manager walking round counting stock not even acknowledging the horrendously slow service and another member of staff just filling up products and this poor young guy on the main shake station just very slowly doing what he had to do with no guidance almost 15 minutes later we acknowledged woohoo! No friendly manner no smile was shocking and I used to love shakeaway but I can assure you I would rather do any of the other dessert shops in such a crowded market than come back here again.. I literally walked away gob smacked with how bad it was and the milkshakes weren't even...

the milkshakes are great. cant fault them. but the customer service is appalling! the staff are rude. i went there with a friend (we are regulars) and not the first time have we been ignored. we had been stood there waiting patiently to be served. 3 members of staff just ignore us. kept looking at us but not saying a word. just carrying on having there convosation. so i said "are you open? because it seems like your not" a member of staff said " i would say im not till trained but i am i just couldnt be bothered". then the girl who served me said under her breath "i was only stood over there like 10 seconds but whatever" that might be the case but a simple "we will be with you in a moment" or a friendly smile would have been appreciated. i was quite upset the way they treated us. its a shame because its the only shake away in Southampton otherwise i would never return but i love...

Terrible customer service. Or should I say service definitely WITHOUT a smile. Charged me for wheatgrass shot then refunded me after ages because apparently they didn’t have any. Almost served us a healthy shake which was supposed to be with yogurt but nearly got served it with ice cream until we had a convo amongst ourselves about it and the employee looked our way, halfway through the order he said how would you like it ice cream or yogurt when on the board quote clearly it states yogurt and not ice cream. The so called “manager” mumbled something when doing the refund. Totally miserable staff no smiles nothing, Understaffed and waited almost an hour to be served with just 2 customers in front of us. How this place is still running is beyond me but defo won’t...
