Captain Cook — Restaurant in St Helens

One guy there needs some customer service training.

After ordering in the shop around 12am, making small talk, we asked the lady serving what time she opened till. She said 4am. We said ‘poor girl’. A normal thing to say I think.

The guy kicked off accusing us of saying the girl had no money..she’s an owner of the business etc.

Tried to ask him to listen so we could explain he’d misunderstood but nope…..something like take your food and go. Lovely guy!

It’s a shame because I’ve been there many times, both in the shop and had food delivered….and the food is good….and we’ve had a good laugh with same lady in question.

But seriously, learn to deal with customers in a more professional way….2 customers lost plus the people we tell.

My first order today and all I have to say is wow. The Doner meat was the best I've ever had and even my brother said it too. I beg you never to change the Doner meat. The yoghurt mint sauce I had on mine was amazing as well. Very well presented and in tin trays to keep the heat in. Boss man even gave me a bottle of Pepsi because I'm sure he didn't want a copyright claim using my last name 'Cook' haha. Very appreciated. For real though I'll never order Doner meat from another takeaway as long as this place keeps selling their version. I'll be ordering again very soon. See you on the high seas,...

Never ever would I order from here again food turned up cold rang the shop for them to rectify it before I left this review the lady was extremely rude asked what did I want her to do. Questioned why I’d want the meal replaced she said she’d send one out but I’m a nasty customer and don’t order from them again I said tell you what keep your food I wouldn’t want anything from a premises with such disgusting customer service skills I’d...
