Starbucks — Restaurant in St Helens

UPDATE - Since my review Starbucks have taken my concerns into account. I will see if any actions come from this and then rewrite my review appropriately in a couple of weeks time.

Disappointed with my visit to Starbucks today. I spent £20 on x2 Frappuccino’s and x2 Beyond Meat Breakfast Sandwich. Only to be greeted with the fact that the Frappuccino maker was broken. I was then offered a “vanilla latte”. Which isn’t remotely similar.

My boyfriend then asked “can we just have it iced”. Which is a less preferred, but reasonable alternative.

Then, for further disappointment, there was only one beyond meat breakfast sandwich. So we had to settle for a subpar bacon sandwich.

And to add to the bacon sandwich….it was more of a ‘sandwich with one slice of bacon”. And it looked like it had been punched, several times

I was surprised at the low review scores here as I have visited several times and had no issues. Sometimes solo, sometime with company, tried food and drinks and never had an issue. Service was always great, no chatting away it seems all business but that is fine, but efficient, polite and pleasant is still great. Hot food is delivered pretty quick and always with utensil or napkin as required, I have never had to request the obvious, staff just know what they are doing. Coffee is delicious as always. My only downside was last two visits the place was looking really scruffy, it didn't seem overly busy and plenty of empty tables but empty mugs, plates and half eaten items littered available spaces, just better floor management and everything for me would be 5*. Been here twice in the last few weeks.Usually when you get to the ordering point they say to you it's card only but then the other week we got there and they said it's cash only not everyone carries cash and by the time you find out, you're stuck behind 4 cars so sit for no reason. Does no one think to put a sign at the entrance to the drive through!

Went this morning (I only ever go here if not close to another) and the drive thru is blocked off.

Place is a joke.
