We enjoyed a very tasty afternoon tea on 9th March. Items on the menu were clearly freshly baked and handmade. A lovely range of sandwiches that were great for special touches, with crisps and crunchy salad. The seeded brown bread was particularly delicious, but the white bread was also tasty. The scones were big, fresh and handmade - one fruity and one plain, with lots of jam and cream. We finished with several small speciality cakes. Very tasty and plentiful food. Exactly what I wanted and as a chef I’ve got to say I’m very impressed, the food was well cooked and perfectly done, ingredients and flavour perfect. The staff were extremely polite and patient with me, my gf is a vegan and they have a good vegan menu for those with that liking, she bought more oatcakes to freeze which shows how much she adored it. Support your local shops s bit more and give them a chance I’ll definitely be doing it now and the price is way cheeper then the bigger coffee bars.
