The Direct Pizza & Burgers — Restaurant in Stafford

I had ordered from this place many times in the past as I really liked it. Then a few weeks ago my wife tried to place an order and it was cancelled by the restaurant. We assumed it was an admin error, or they were too busy. No biggie, we just ordered from somewhere else. Then when my order got cancelled again, I thought something odd was going on so I called the restaurant and was told the manager has decided not to service my address any more. When I asked to speak to the manager, I was told he was out on deliveries and would call me back. He didn’t. I had to order from somewhere else again, and I was absolutely starving. I have absolutely no idea why we appear to have been suddenly been blacklisted. We have been regular customers for a while; we always pay; we have never been rude or abusive. I’ve even left them positive reviews on Just Eat. Honestly all I want to know is why! They’ve obviously lost our custom either way. Just ordered from here and it was shocking, I've had pizzas previously and they've been decent. Decided to order some chicken for a change and it was one of the most disappointing take away meals I've ever had the displeasure of eating. I ordered what was advertised as a "chicken fillet burger" and what came was a processed mass produced chicken mince burger and it was massively bland with a smattering of lettuce and a wafer of mayonnaise on all 3 burgers. The chicken which came was even worse, over done in what was clearly old oil, it was bland and completely devoid of flavour. The pieces my kids ended up with were mainly bone skin and breading and were so poor that they ended up having half of our burgers.

Just ordered from here and I'm going to use bullet points to list the problems. Mozzarella sticks were barely even cooked, more like mozzarella ice pops. The dough used to make the pizza was thinner than a piece of paper, giving the pizza no support and the slice just fell apart when touched. Asked for stuffed crust but was given a tiny layer of cheese in the smallest crust imaginable. Cant get a refund because some of the food has been eaten ( i ordered two pizzas, 3 slices from each baring in mind i had a few friends round)
